About Filmbase
Laminated photochromic film is non-adhesive on both sides, and can be tightly laminated with EVA film and flat glass to create photochromic glass
Energy saving and environmental protection can control the luminous flux
FILMBASE photochromic film, with relatively low consumption value, photochromic film is a new type of material that can control the luminous flux and change the color. When indoors, photochromic film is no different from ordinary transparent film, but it will quickly change color when exposed to strong sunlight. Ultraviolet (UV) rays in sunlight affect the molecules in the polarizing film, causing them to change color. Even on cloudy days, the polarizing film darkens in light because UV rays can still penetrate the clouds.
FILMBASE photochromic film, the consumption value is relatively low, can basically achieve stepless dimming, with a certain thermal insulation performance, and no additional input energy, photochromic film can automatically adjust the light transmittance according to the sunlight intensity, can effectively reduce the indoor temperature, reduce indoor cooling energy consumption, energy saving and improve building energy efficiency, and can improve indoor daylight comfort, when the sun is strong, it can avoid indoor over-brightness and glare, and when the sunlight is weak, it will not affect the indoor lighting. Also, since the change in transmittance is not due to scattering, it does not affect the long-term field of view.
Laminated photochromic film
Laminated photochromic film: non-adhesive on both sides, photochromic glass can be manufactured by tightly laminating EVA film with flat glass.
Advantages of laminated photochromic film products
Dynamic light control
Reacts dynamically to light where there is sunlight, changing color quickly.
Blocks UV rays
Blocks ultraviolet and infrared rays, effectively blocks light and heat, and prevents glare.
Energy saving and environmental protection
It can reduce the air temperature generated by intense sunlight, reduce light and heat, and thus save electrical energy.
Easy to install
The installation method is simple, only need to use the glued side of the product to gently stick to the glass surface, and there is no need to connect the power supply to complete the installation.
FILMBASE photochromic film is generally used in small-area glass products such as office windows and anti-glare rearview mirrors.
